Our vision is to spread our sustainability values and help men & women to buy clothes in a more conscious way, choosing quality and timeless styles that will endure in time.
We envision MUB Collection to serve as a pilot practice bringing a new approach to the fashion sector. The MUB capsule collection includes a basic collection of garments that can be easily combined and used in different seasons with a small number of accessories. We do believe fashion consumption should be strongly reduced and be more conscient, committed, and sustainable.
MUB Collection aims to raise awareness on the impact of fashion on our planet and promote pеople‘s involvement in disrupting the current fashion system. We aim to provide a unique wardrobe to citizens committed to sustainability and awareness of the power of social innovation.
Our objective is to address one of the major environmental issues nowadays by jointly giving a new life to would-be-wasted textiles, through design and using artisan techniques and manufacturing.
Participation and Collaboration
MUB Collection is all about cooperation and the representation of a common love towards sustainability and nature. A common motivation that united us to convert what is considered as waste into something beautiful and useful.
We focus on community participation via swap markets and social events, community involvement via the Wastecoins initiative, as well as strategic collaborations with influencers, companies, and other key stakeholders.
Circular Economy & Zero Waste
MUB is a sustainable capsule collection of garments following the principles of the circular economy as a pilot experience to raise awareness on the impact of fashion on our planet and promote pеople’s involvement in disrupting the current fashion system.
Zero Waste is achieved via minimal waste pattern design and the application of some artisan techniques such as including natural dyeing, patchwork, draping, and weaving to avoid the production of textile scraps.
Craftsmanship & Artisan Manufacturing
Given that most vintage and old bed linen clothes are made of natural fibres so in white or cream, they use natural dyeing techniques to give them a new life.
The Capsule Collection has been designed and manufactured by Dahlia Rodríguez using artisan techniques and bed linen clothes as raw materials which are previously sourced from swap markets and Swap Spot, organised by Empty Your Wardrobe and naturally dyed by Warm & Wild.
