MUB Collection consists of nine elegant pieces that you can mix and match in a variety of combinations to build your own complete capsule wardrobe. Today, we are revealing our Forest Dress: a zero-waste draped dress.
During the manufacturing process, Dahlia Rodriguez used a zero-waste pattern with draped arms that allows the dress to be worn by different bodies and sizes. For this reason, the pattern used allowed Dahlia to highlight the wonderful dyeing provided naturally by Marta from Warm and Wild using the bundle dyeing technique. Its unique pattern brought Dahlia to apply a pattern with the minimum intervention and to hand-stitch the most delicate seams.
This dress is completely unique. Dried flowers, roots, food waste, and other natural elements have been combined to create this pattern. Due to the natural dyes used, and the pattern achieved in the bundle dyeing process, we can assure there won’t be two of the same.
Isn’t it magical to wear a dress that you know nobody else will wear, and that is also environmentally conscious?
Wearing the Forest Dress brings you closer to the experience of wearing nature. The feeling of its fabric is fresh and its printing unique.
